This Patek Philippe 1569J Jumbo 36 mm Calatrava watch is fitted with a 12"'120 caliber 18-jewel movement, #960503 and a 18K yellow gold case, #645104.

The watch was made in 1948, confirmed with an extract from the archives confirming its date of manufacture and further sale.  Additionally, the watch comes with a one year movement guarantee.

Essay:    
This model was launched in 1943 and remained in production until around 1949. It was available in yellow and rose gold,  and is one of the rare large over sized watches of the period with a diameter of 36 mm.  Less than 20 examples of reference 1569 in yellow gold have appeared.
